Dubois KO of Anthony Joshua was just one of the very best knockouts Iāve ever seen in my 40 years watching boxing. Takes a huge shot from joshua, stays calm, backs up, takes one and gives one back better, and then times a perfect right hand as AJ came in for the kill. All under extreme pressure. Incredible. The whole world thought Daniel was going to be koād at that point. To see AJ fall like he did will be iconic for Daniel Dubois. No matter what else he does in the next 10 years of his career, that ko alone will live forever.

Watching Daniel Dubois is like watching the great fighters of the 1990ās. Heās looking like a throwback danger man now.

Daniel could tell that last punch had broken his eye socket. He knew something was badly wrong that he had never felt before that night. He had to stop to save his career. And I am glad he did. Look where he is now. Heās turned his whole outlook around, decided if he is going to box heās going to WIN at any cost. No more āquittingā. And THAT is exactly what he has done against 3 very capable fighters in his last 3 fights. Heās a nice guy too. šš¬š§ I hope he wins in a devastating spectacle that will put fear into anyone he fights next. Heās a force alright. šš¬š§

Ā @AJs_DarkroomĀ the punch was good but thereās little indication that Dubois was āin troubleā. He backed off, he didnāt stagger, kept his cool, knew AJ would think this was his chance, and reversed the outcome with the right hand. He felt the punch alright but he took it a bit better than at first thought. He can take a shot.

This was a brilliant production. You are the only one whoās complaining. Itās a fight review- what do you expect ? The actual fight a week before it happens? This is the STORY of both fighters as they lead up to this fight. And this is the best video on these two Iāve seen.

I think a bit quicker myself. Dubois will either shock him early or sicken him and tire him out like Hergovic. But at some point the refs stopping it.

Ring magazine needed a channel!

@ itās a matter of fact he had an eye socket fracture.
2
@ yeah. Heās out to knock you out. Thatās why heās an exciting fighter today. Who else does that at this level? Not Usyk, not Fury, not joshua, not Parker. Iām tired of watching 12 rounders with these guys. They should all retire and let the young fighters come through and make good historic fights of their own.
2
@ he was afraid because he was up against a guy who for once didnāt ārespectā him and was coming at him to destroy him. A big, young, devastating fighter who hits hard and never stops. When was the last time he fought anyone like that? Never. He was stunned by daniels attitude of āIām not boxing you Iām knocking you outā and he knew that Daniel was capable of doing it from the first round onwards. He was worried sick about losing again. But itās his own fault. Heās built bigger and stronger than George Foreman but he stopped trying to ko guys after Ruiz 1. He even tried to out box Usyk- TWICE. When heās BUILT to destroy. This was the main difference between both men on the night. AJ came to try and box to a nice calm points win. But Daniel came to destroy him. Instead of fighting him back the same way, which would have been his best chance (fight fire with fire) he STILL tried to box Dubois. And so Daniel still tried to ko him. And did. AJās mindset has been all wrong since Ruiz 1. He went from a powerful destroyer into a guy who ONLY tries to win on points. Even if heās getting battered. He just wonāt fight. It was different when he landed his big shot on Daniel, AJ thought heād really hurt him and decided after this disastrous last 4 rounds that this was his big chance. But Daniel wasnāt hurt. Just surprised. He kept calm, took a look at him, hit him back, then timed that right hand to absolute perfection. Job done.

@ I can see Dubois doing that but not Parker. He hasnāt the power to bother Daniel and he will soon realise that. What Parker has to do because he lacks power at top level, is stay on the outside and pot shot at the slowest pace possible. Daniel will have to attack fast and be aware of being tagged coming in. But I donāt think he will be able to keep Dubois off. AJ is bigger and stronger and a bigger puncher than Parker and he couldnāt do a thing with him. Parker will look very poor against Dubois. Heās never in his career faced anything like Dubois.
2
@ okay I get you. Daniel can be funny too, like when he laughed when Parker was saying all the things he would do to Dubois? Daniel knew it was all rubbish because he just isnāt going to be ABLE to do anything with Daniel. Dubois is bigger, fitter, stronger, harder puncher, faster, younger, good chin and far more dynamic than Parker who only ever fights for points at top level because he knows he hasnāt the power to stop top level guys. It makes him boring to watch. He can ko lesser guys like McKean and Opelu etc. but he hasnāt the power at top level. You seem to know your stuff about boxing. šš¬š§

Email champ? He beat AJ with the belt on the line. Belts get split up because thereās no possible way a unified belt holder can defend them all. Daniel has turned his career around through sheer hard graft and determination and a strong desire to win no matter what. Heās quit against Usyk, serious confidence issues but all thatās behind him now.

Good eh. It is. š

Ā @23lnpĀ well his last 3 were big punchers- 82% ko ratio, 84% and AJ 92% ko ratio. And they all hit him hard and he has never staggered or been down. In other words, he NEVER FOLDED when the going got tough. You guys crack me up. You actually cannot, or refuse to acknowledge how good Daniel Dubois is. Itās because you are all stuck in your own minds about him being a quitter. Heās not.

@ it was actually a PRE VIEW if you READ the title. a PRE view. What donāt you understand?
1
@ itās a preview. What are they going to DO but show their past fights leading up to this one. Iām tired of this. Donāt message again.
1
@ itās not clever to know a fight preview will show the two boxers previous fights. Thatās just what is expected. . The fight hasnāt happened yet so I donāt know what you expected to see in this but their previous fights.
1
@ ok mate. I have nothing against you. Itās fine. Iād like to ask you what your prediction is for the fight? I pick Dubois within 5 rounds, but it wouldnāt surprise me if it went even quicker.
1
Ā @leonhuinga2987Ā what do you mean by that?

FIVE DAYS! Come on Daniel!š„š„
1
@ yes he manages to get inside using that technique but any boxer with an attacking style must be wary of something coming back. This is why a āboxer puncherā is so dangerous, but Parker does lack power to stop or dissuade Dubois from attacking. Daniel will have no fear of Parkerās power. However he will have to be mindful as it is heavyweight boxing. I canāt see Parker being as tough as Daniel. Dubois is younger, fitter, stronger, more powerful, more devastating, and he is out to prove himself every fight. And heās also getting better every fight now. š

@ I think Dillian Whyte is not in great shape or practise these days. He struggled 7 rounds with EBENEEZER Tetteh. He didnāt look fit or good at all. By comparison Daniel Dubois koād Tetteh 6 years ago in 1 round. ? I think judging by Joyceās fight against Chisora, Joyce has the best chance in this if he gets fit.
1
@ I think he has a slow brain for boxing too. He LOVES as slow a pace as possible. This is to give himself time to think about boxing an opponent as he knows he doesnāt ko anybody at top level. So he stands off and pot shots from the outside. Itās boring. Heās not exciting at all and always boxes for 12. Nice man though.
