Some materials and metals are extremely strong when held in the hands of a person. You wouldn’t be able to bend them. But put them through the forces of an air crash and that’s a different matter entirely. It doesn’t need much brainwork to figure that out.

I have never heard of the materials being ‘sticks’ and ‘paper’ etc. And I doubt the army would construct such a thing either.

Yes, I was a big fan of him too. But he was an exposer of fakers. It was fakers he couldn’t stand. He never would tell anyone that they had not seen a ghost, for example. He knew the truth of things like that, that people actually see. But he devoted his life to exposing those who claim to be ‘psychics’ etc. People like the most famous faker of all, the despicable con man URI Geller. Randi did a great job on geller. It’s hard to believe that geller is STILL pretending to be a psychic to this day. One of the biggest con men in history. This was what Randi hated. Not the paranormal, which he knew to be real. But those who would take advantage of others for personal gain. A great man, sadly missed. 🇬🇧

@applecustard6128 might I suggest a really good book for you? ‘The children that time forgot’ True stories of reincarnation as told to a radio show by members of the public who called in. I was a sceptic until I read that book. If you don’t want to read it, fair enough. But I read it because I wanted to see both sides of the story. I gave the book a chance. What it contains is astonishing.

@ag-bf3ty skepticism is absolutist though. Like take yourself. You are not even willing to consider the notion of the supernatural. That’s wrong. The supernatural exists.
