  1. Amazing listening to this hero. I could listen all day and all night. My dad was in the British Royal Artillery, D Day, battle for Caen, battle of Normandy, Nijmegen bridge, bulge northern shoulder, into Germany, down into Germany liberated Belsen concentration camp, and then guarded the river Elbe, to make sure the Russians didn’t cross it. They were under strict orders to sink anything trying to cross. I never tired of listening to my dad either, from a boy right to the age of 43 when he sadly passed on New Year’s Day 2013. Sadly missed. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

  2. I can listen to these guys all day. In fact tomorrow that’s exactly what I’m going to do. My dad was with the Royal Artillery in D Day and battle for Caen battle of normandy, Nijmegen bridge, northern shoulder of the bulge, down through Germany, liberated Belsen, and guarded the Elbe river to make sure the Russians didn’t cross. I miss my dads stories. I never tired of them my whole life. We lost him New Year’s Day 2013. Great man, best Friend, and father. Sadly missed. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

  3.  @joewhite4080  101st airborne! Wow what a prestigious unit! The British didn’t see that much action at the Bulge northern shoulder but they did fight and lost men up there. But it was an American battle. You guys were amazing in ww2, we would all be under the jackboot now if not for the Americans. We know it and we don’t forget. I love America myself. And my late dad had nothing but good things to say about American soldiers. Best regards👍🇬🇧🇺🇸

This generation was amazing. My dad was still working under cars in the snow at 75, had 6 kids (two sets twins) and lived to 92, passed New Year’s Day 2013, lovely man, I’d always ask for his stories all my life I never got tired of listening to him. Not just my dad but my best friend. Sadly missed. The young today don’t know they’re born.

  6. When you look at these men and what they did, then look at the ‘modern’ woke marine corps recruitment ad, ‘I’m Emma, I’m a lesbian with two moms’ Don’t ever ask in the future ‘where did it all go wrong’ It went wrong now.

  7. As true soldiers gradually leave the forces and the services become more and more ‘woke’, there will be no more men like this. And there certainly won’t be any more living medals of honour handed out, because they’ll all be dead.

My dad was with the Royal Artillery in D day, battle for Caen, Normandy, then up to Nijmegen bridge, down to the northern shoulder of the bulge (xxx corps) across into Germany, down into Germany liberated Belsen, then guarded the Elbe river to make sure the Russians didn’t cross. They had orders to shoot anyone trying to cross. His stories from the war, I never ever tired of. We lost him New Year’s Day 2013. Lovely man, best friend and father, missed every day. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

  9. Men like this who knew REAL fear, and displayed real courage, and experienced the worst of human nature, are these days becoming fewer and fewer due to age. I wonder what men like this think when they watch the news and all anyone can talk about is which pronouns people should call them because they don’t know whether they’re a boy or a girl because SCHOOLS have indoctrinated into them that NO, you can BE BOTH. What a sad state of affairs, when in the space of one lifetime, society can produce men like this, prepared to travel to a foreign land to rid the world of evil, to nowadays with our warped sense of who we even ARE. There is a creeping danger in todays society- it is already active in our schools, brainwashing our children that the world will die if they don’t do ‘this’ or do ‘that’. No it won’t. They are busy right now changing the way children grow up and are moulded into good healthy adults. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. For in any future war that needs soldiers, god help America and other countries of the western world.
