  1. It’s ironic that older men look back in sadness at their previous selves, and would do it differently with the benefit of hindsight- yet it is older men (politicians of that time and now) who send young men to war.

  2. Not enough is reported in history documentaries about the atrocities of more recent times you mention. I was in my 20’s in the 1990’s and in britain I remember being horrified by the news from Bosnia. We talk a lot of ww2 atrocities but these were much more recent yet are rarely ever talked about.

  3. Everyone thinks death is the end. How ironic it’d be if it turned out to be just the beginning. I’m busy reading a fantastic book, ‘the children that time forgot’ by Peter and Mary Harrison. Amazing book.

  4. It’s not that important, but documentary makers really need to get the right size of helmets for the actors to wear. It looks ridiculous to see nearly every man wearing a helmet far too small for them.

  5. People don’t necessarily come back near their former home? Could be well away from where the previous life was lived.
