  1.  @uhnetwork7506  That's been life for all of human history. Starting your own thing is the way to go in the free market. First you get skills to where people will pay you a decent salary. Then you save up (invest) your money until you have a good enough idea to start your own thing. Or you go straight to fund raising and build an idea from there. But you still better have the skills / discipline first or you will fail.

  2. There is never a good reason to give up on your future. 8 years ago I was making minimum wage and barely scraping buy renting a room from someone. After 6 months of hard work I was noticed and given a raise. The employer also tried to move me into a higher paying section, but due to health issues I couldn't keep up physically. Ok, I was sad but I didn't give up. So I worked harder looking for other jobs, and gave myself a 50% raise in that job hop. Due to some bad luck, I lost that job. Kept working hard for another 6 months grinding temp jobs at minimum wage and looking for a better job. Found a better job. This one is 100% pay increase, not 50%. Kept that job (they liked my hard work). Hopped to another job for a 25% pay increase. I was able to live on my own now in a decent apartment. Still wanted more. Decided to put in more work (nights and weekends). Learned a new trade. Now I work remotely and make triple the best salary I had at my last in person job. You sure there is no incentive to work hard? You only get these gains by not quitting. I originally quit too a long time ago on my ideal career. I wish I never talked myself out of it, because now that I'm here it was worth it.

  3. Work for a different society then. Take all your resources from the previous system to build a new one.
