  1. No offense, but you Linux veterans are stuck in your ways. Most people have no issues with Gnome on Ubuntu. The biggest problem people have with Linux is drivers sometimes not working, a few major applications not working (Abobe products come to mind) and games not working. That being said I agree that KDE Plasma is better.

  2. That's a really solid desktop environment and without all the spyware and bloat of Windows. They just need a marketing department so they can crush Microsoft (we can dream can't we).
