  1. I disagree about the concept of a mercenary. A mercenary is a contract soldier. It doesn't mean he's trying to bilk the company, it just means he comes in, does the job, and may or may not care about the overall mission. It's like the HVAC repair guy at the office. He doesn't care about your company vision, but he does care about his reputation as a repairman.
