@barrydaemi6287 "Or working a minimum wage job while studying...Yeah, that is not worth it." If that's all you have then that's what you work with. Unless you're living with your parents as a NEAT, which is frankly the worst life choice possible, you have to grind it out.

@johndavis29209 There are many ways to do it. I've never worked for a large established company. I've mostly worked at startups and it's been a good career for me. So just something to keep in mind. You can always transition to a large company later, but personally I haven't put much effort into that yet since I've got some decent remote contracts and a good savings rate.

Looking for a year? If I was you (and I was) I'd be looking for part time work in the meantime. My third part time contract in web dev turned into my first full time job.
