Police aren't much of a threat to us in the USA. Things could be improved, but you are in much more danger from an angry BLM / Antifa mob than a group of police. We have far leftists literally taking over parts of leftist cities (Seattle CHAZ) and imposing mob rule. And you are focused on the police as a threat? lol.

@krisjohnston5569 Over 20 people have already been killed in the response to George Floyd's death. Crime has increased across the board, including robbery and physical assault. Hundreds if not thousands have suffered injury from some form of violence, either from rioters or from riot police. Thousands of businesses have been damaged, many have been shuttered, dozens burned completely, hundreds looted, business owners beaten nearly to death, old business owners hit in the head with blunt objects. A person wearing the wrong political hat beaten savagely. People randomly attacked in their cars. Or attacked because they had the wrong bumper sticker. Cops don't do that to you in America, rioters do. All because a police officer killed one man. So do the math which is a greater threat to your personal safety?

@krisjohnston5569 I'm wrong? Please make your case. I've looked at the facts, and the response to police violence is what is destroying these black communities, and not just that, they are hollowing out the larger economy in their own cities. Look at the history of these race riots over police brutality, they have consistently produced decimated urban economies, such as after the riots in Detroit, such as after the Watts riots, the 90s LA riots. Destroying businesses is killing jobs in your own community, is driving out successful and responsible people who help build up your community. Cops simply don't do that. In fact cops may be the one reason businesses can even operate in some of these dangerous places.

@cw5894 Why did stop and frisk get started in the first place? Was there not a huge problem with crime and poverty already? Your side of the argument never gets to the roots of the issue or is willing to define it. It is the crime hurting the economies in these areas more than any police program. Without more policing you would have more businesses leave. If they felt cops weren't doing enough to curb the violence, they leave. These are the facts that need to be explained to these communities, instead of continuing to blame the people trying to help. You guys are all afraid to call people out for their own bullshit destroying their own community. Even if you think stop and frisk did ruin someone's life, blame the politicians who made those laws. That isn't cruelty or malice on the part of police. It was at worst a misguided effort to decrease crime in these areas.

@LawAcieIV BLM wants to extort you for much more than that. They are calling for reparations on a nation wide scale. It is both robbery and racism combined. If you are a small business in a black community, they are making it less safe to do business. You need to either invest in more security or leave. Perhaps it's too late and they already burned your shop and beat you or your wife (as has happened to multiple business owners during these riots). That's a huge cost. I agree regulations hurt businesses, cops don't create business regulations, your city and state representatives do, mostly Democrats who create those. Those can really hurt small business, especially for he poor. Democrats support minimum wage laws, more licensing laws, endless safety standards, COVID-19 lockdowns, high taxes, and the list goes on. BLM funnels money it raises directly into the Democratic party. So BLM is screwing you over 5 ways from sunday.

No sorry buddy one bad cop didn't force anyone to riot and shed innocent blood. If you riot that is your crime. You don't have a right to shed innocent blood because of innocent blood shed. These people are rioting out of evil in their own hearts and are responsible for the blood they shed.
