  2. dandel351 Well.. You wouldn't be able to use it with modern ammo regardless.. This gun was designed to fire blackpowder cartridges only. Maybe if you loaded up some cartridges by hand with blackpowder you could make it work.

  3. Mutant1988 They still make guns today without trigger guards. As someone pointed out, with a single action gun, the trigger is useless unless the hammer is cocked.
