Honestly... I don't think it's that bad. It definitely needs a different stock arrangement, or in the very least a thick rubber butt pad. And I think it needs a better method to unlock the gun after each shot... That seemed a little tedious. Other than that it's fine. As for it not having a rear sight, I do want to point out that it is very common for shotguns to only have a front site, typically a brass bead. Most do have a shallow groove cut in the top of the receiver, but that doesn't really help much. As for the sling swivel issue, I do admit that it is unusual. However, is it possible that it was meant to be set up with a single point sling? (very common with AR's, etc. today.) In that case it would not need a front swivel.
