  3. DON’T LEAVE YOUR DOGS BY THEMSELVES! Unless you have two or three big dogs in a fenced area, they aren’t safe outside alone!

  4. You should never let a small dog outside alone especially near the woods or a pond/lake. That being said, what a great owner protecting his dog and smart to get one of those spiked harnesses I have a chihuahua named Roxy too and she only goes outside with our big dogs or with us.
