@OnlyTwoShoes they do have the mindset to seek help. Most don’t want to take it. There are advocacy groups that go around trying to help the homeless but a lot of them don’t want to go into a shelter or into a mental hospital( not that the mental hospitals are all that great but it’s a warm place to sleep and to get meals and some medication) but they refuse bc they want to do drugs or drink alcohol, I have mental health issues and have been homeless. I have witnessed their behavior and mindset. Most refuse to get help and improve their lives. They expect others to fund their drug or alcohol and homeless lifestyle. I have tried to help several of them and only one family and one single mother who I helped by giving them rides to appointments and work and let a couple of them stay at my apartment for a few nights when I got one, actually did the work to get out of the shelter or off the streets. They don’t want to change or do better or work to at least pay for themselves

@Armed-Forever the teen DID do that. She rented the bike and he pushed it in BY FORCE and THEN he leaned over her to rent it WHILE SHE was still on the bike

@OnlyTwoShoes it depends on the mental illness. My ex bf’s mom had bipolar disorder and she was very aware of it and got treatment. Unfortunately, as soon as she started feeling better, she stopped taking the medication and started doing drugs which made her worse and she had been violent with some people.

The teen is the one who recorded and posted the video and then all the race hustlers called her “racist”, a “thief”, a “Karen” and she was doxxed and threatened and the news went to her apartment and showed the video to her neighbors without any full context and she was put on leave when in fact it was the teen that was trying to take the bike that SHE had rented so that’s why people are still talking about it. If the teen had never tried to take the bike and had not posted the video than no one would have known about this incident. She has a right to defend herself and to sue everyone who defamed her and doxxed her and the teen does not deserve $50k for being a liar and a jerk

@Armed-Forever if you’re going to talk about morality than the teen should’ve told the pregnant nurse that she could use the e-bike to get home after a long shift. But he LEGALLY didn’t have the right to not let her rent it bc it’s not his bike and he wasn’t renting it at the time

@Armed-Forever and yes, legality is more important than morality in this situation bc people were accusing her of stealing the bike from the teen , which was proven false by both their receipts
