I don’t assume that if someone says they are black that their ancestors came from Africa. They could come from South America, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti or even Europe.

@Freedomfighter20251 yes, I know now that I watched Judge Joe Brown. My comment was about that being black doesn’t mean that your parents or grandparents necessarily came from Africa.

@2KIngIro it’s not about “identifying”. Someone is ether a certain race or they are not. In his case, he was mixed race. PERIOD. It doesn’t change anything about him. Race/color is just an immutable characteristic. More important is his culture and his character and gifts he was given that he used.

@toddtravis2596 what don’t you understand? Not all black people come from Africa( yes, originally but I’m talking about the where their parents or grandparents were born). African slaves were taken all over the world. The Arabs bought the most, or at least more than Europeans and Americans.
