If we weren’t taxed so much and if there was smaller government, no lobbyists, less regulations, energy independent, low inflation, no wars and no sending billions to other countries then we’d have more money in our pockets/bank account to pay for healthcare and child care( or have one parent stay at home). If we stopped incentivizing single motherhood and fathers stayed in the home, more families would be intact to be able to afford housing and there would be less crime which means less poverty. Bigger government means more corruption and more taxes which means more money for the bureaucracy and politicians and more poverty and crime.

I can also use my eyes and look at facts that socialism doesn’t work. Republicans today are part of the problem as well. You can’t force someone to work and giving incentives to not work causes more homelessness. Having a strong economy so businesses can thrive , low unemployment, low taxes, low inflation, low gas, food and consumer goods is how to get people off the street and into the work force. I know. I’ve been homeless when Obama was in office and when Trump was and I did way better under Trump, as did the rest of the country.

  50.  @wjchaps9843 when we have low gas prices , low inflation and a strong economy, those are tax breaks for the working class and it means more and better opportunities and higher wages. My wages were stagnant during Obama and when Trump was in office my earnings doubled, plus gas and food prices were low. Now I’m barely getting by and had to use all my savings from when I was working A LOT and made more during Trump.
