Most can’t afford to move or have elderly family to take care of or kids that they can’t just yank out of school. You exist people to just put all their belongings in their car and drive to another state and be homeless and jobless?

It takes time to sell a house , get kids out of school and register them in another, find another job in another state, find a home/place in another state, save money to move etc. I never said it was impossible.
