  1. The US wants to maintain its global domination in every major field so that’s why it sees China’s ability to make better products than the US can as a threat to its dominant position. What makes it even worse is the fact that China is selling its superior products at a much lower price than the US as well so that most countries around the world would rather buy Chinese products than American products and this both feared and angered the US because as China dominates more and more in the manufacturing sector the US loses its influence in the world and the power that it has on other countries also diminishes as well. That is the reason why the US wants to stop China from getting into making high tech products such as chips, EV, and AI and wants to stop China’s rise in the global stage anyway it can!
