  2. I personally think Mark is wrong about Russia not coming to Iran's defence if they are under threat. Assad asked for help because he needed it and Russia agreed. Why would they not do so if Iran was in such a situation? Though I agree with you that Iran probably wouldn't need help.

  3. Mark also gets things wrong. I remember he was hysterical on Twitter when the Russian forces withdrew from Kherson. He was predicting it was over for Russia in the battle. So I can't take him too seriously now.
