I cried hard in 2019 when Jeremy Corbyn lost the election. I knew our country was in big trouble for voting in the most evil and banal people into government.
22
I wish the Green party had also not put up a candidate in solidarity with Jeremy.
21
Is this by Lowkey? Brilliant and moving rap.
21
Really? That is very interesting to know.

@ae112 No you just can't handle the truth. Muslims have been on the receiving end of hatred and prejudice from many white people in the West that are brainwashed to fear Islam because of the actions of a minority of bad people. This is also the legacy of the white supremacist views of the colonisers and extends to all none white people too. If my comment triggered you then maybe you should ask yourself why.

@Andyontherocks With all due respect your choice to vote for this shitshow of a government says more about your poor choice and lack of discernment as a person. You fell for the lies of the Tories so you are likely a pretty guillable person and then have a nerve to attack the left as being 'loony'
10
@Ramy_Lm inshAllah they will figure it out eventually.

Many in the West still think they are fighting the crusades thus their indifference to Muslim's deaths and the emergence of far right governments. I always think of a famous Native American view of the European invaders as having Angry white faces. The racism is systemic in the West.

A new project on the horizon to document Starmer's lies as you did for Boris Johnson. Please do it Peter as you one of our best journalists in the UK.
6
This guy didn't support Corbyn for PM so frankly I'm not really interested in what he has to say, along with other guardian journalists he drank the anti Corbyn kool aid and in this video no reference to Corbyn's vision for the country and how it bought hope to the many.

Thanks for reminding everyone as Double Down seems to have too many of these traitors denigrating the labour party but no mention of how they smeared Corbyn. I blame them for not speaking the truth at the time for getting the Tories elected.
4
I think the future lies with Chris Williamson tbh. As Corbyn capitulated to the establishment of the labour party by condoning the expulsions of his colleagues that I can only assume were his friends too. Check out Chris' channel Resist as he is talking about the important issues of the day, as well as what is happening with labour now as they continue to purge members.

The fact that the UK and US governments don't give a damn about press freedom is not shocking in this day and age but it really should be. Censorship is the new normal unfortunately.
2
@aron666x I'm sorry it bought you down. I feel pretty hopeless watching the news coverage and at the terrible right wing western governments responses. I hope and pray the next generation will be better, a small sliver of hope is that many people seek out alternative media to be informed.

What truly dark times we are living through! The Gaza genocide has upturned all the rules the West pretend to respect and uphold. Only the liars are doubling down on their propaganda tactics to hold onto their power. We have to fight back even harder to expose the truth of the genocide and keep protesting.
2
The similarities are probably due to the vote leave crew for Brexit getting your prime minister elected and smearing his opponent then using that winning formula with our susceptible electorate. I guess the only positive for us might be that the Tories are not likely to be outright climate deniers unlike your government.
2
@pallasstreetborrisoleigh He WAS a Labour MP.
2
@Andyontherocks Fair enough it's good that you admitted you were wrong to vote for this government but I wonder what other entrenched views you hold that need inner scrutiny. It doesn't sound good when you just call the left loony but have no substantive reasons for this view. I agree with you though that this is a horrible time we are all living in and people need to be allies to protect our public services from completely being sold down the river.
1
@Andyontherocks I wouldn't silence or try to censor someone if I don't agree with them. Or resort to labelling a person a Nazi! I think we agree on more things possibly and do believe this is a class struggle ultimately so can't understand why anyway could have voted for Boris who is a pathological liar. Damn he prorogued parliament after all so how can people not have seen through him back in 2019 is beyond me. And the current crop of politicians including labour are the worst in living memory. I don't know where the unity is going to come from, do you?
1
Jon Cook Well censorship is bad period as it leads to authoritarianism. These tech giants need to be broken up immediately in my opinion. What's happening on YouTube alone is pretty disturbing as certain commentators videos are being hidden by the algorithms. But in answer to your question about Trump in particular, he should be able to communicate on social media and if he is spreading misinformation people have the ability to point this out and make up their own minds.

@aron666x I don't like those hate peddlers and cranks either but if they are censored then so will the media outlets I respect. It's already happening on YouTube to the grayzone, Jimmy dore etc. You are right we are all adults and responsible for our own actions, I think there is a crossover between left and right on this issue at least.
1
I honestly don't even think it was his support of Palestinians rights but his plan to dismantle the old boys club and reforming our society for the sake the majority. His opposition to neoliberalism was enough to make the rich bastards all unite to destroy his reputation.
1
Give them Hell Jeremy! You should reveal to the public who the real Keir Starmer is as you must have loads of dirt on him.
1
When the BBC did that hitpiece on JC the scales fell off my eyes. It is institutional trash feeding the public propaganda. Even the dramas are propaganda!
1
George is years behind the real left.
1
@PSYCHOLOGYALEVELMsKerr So why watch him?
1
George Galloway is the best option for our next election.
1
He was a traitor to the left and went after Corbyn like the other Guardian columnists on a regular basis.
1
Our nurses should go on strike immediately and let's see how the Tory voting boomers respond to that.

Muslims believe that Syria is where the second coming of Jesus Christ is. But much more carnage is predicted before that could happen. So many signs are coming to pass though so never forget that the only thing that matters is your belief in God.
