My view though is that this guest (that I've never heard of before) reinforces for the audience that many American ex military are not particularly regretful of their actions abroad and most of them are fully bought in to the American exceptionalism perspective. They see themselves as benevolent liberators of uncivilized people that live under dictatorships. Clearly George's audience are not going to subscribe to this arrogant brainwashed mindset so the guest will do himself no favours by coming on this show. I don't think there is any ambiguity that the USA, whatever the government is an evil body that must be destroyed to save the Americans from themselves ultimately. Tony also doesn't acknowledge that the USA just goes into these countries under the false pretences of saving the people whilst robbing them of their resources. Maybe he will accept that truth one day though when it's forced upon him.

They are on opposite sides on most subjects but George recognises that Farage is now potentially replacing the Tories in the UK, wheras he is the representative of what the Labour party once stood for.

  30. Diana was authentic and fragile with the Hell the Royal family put her through. She was also quite enchanting and had a strong individuality that everyone respected as demonstrated by her charity work. Kate is not even slightly comparable to Diana.   31. George you also were more memorable on reality TV than Farage. He was very guarded and rigid on I'm A Celebrity, quite a sharp contrast to his gregarious cheerful persona. Wheras George was totally himself even with that cat imitating play, he didn't care to make a fool out of himself. Farage is inauthentic and it's great that more people see it now.

  33. As a person on the left I agree that only George could realistically bridge the political divide as a fantastic PM. He is a true populist and unlike the pretenders like Farage, he has principles and a vision for the UK that is for the greater good. Though my only niggle is his views on immigration, but at least he is honest with his views.
