  3. Anyone that defends politicians is definitely suspect in my opinion. I will read those tweets again to see what Fang said in defence of Tulsi. But Mehdi is doing some manipulating of the conversation by ignoring his critics too. He hasn't made his points very well regarding the Modi government and I wonder if he is only saying this now because India is siding with Russia right now and the USA doesn't want this.

  5. You are right but the clips are being aired to show Mehdi's hypocrisy. He was once subscribed to a more rigid Muslim identity which no doubt would have acknowledged that the West was always an enemy to Muslims everywhere but now he is a propagandist for the mainstream narrative against certain Muslim countries because the USA security state deems them to be. He criticised Palestinians in the Knesset that didn't condemn the Russian invasion! He is a very slippery character and untrustworthy.
