The global scene and the threat of nuclear war is number 1. Other domestic issues come after that including the pandemic response. Jimmy was frankly an asshole throughout his interview or lecture then cries that Cornel responds angrily and cuts the interview short. Cornel is correct that Jimmy needs to learn nuance and frankly to listen better.

  13. Yes his punditry is definitely like a rightwing gotcha host like Piers. Heck even Tucker Carlson wouldn't have talked to Cornel like that as he has manners. Jimmy is like a King that demands full allegiance to his views on any subject and you cannot entertain any other opinions otherwise he will turn on you like a tsunami destroying everything in its path. The fact so many other commentators reinforce this suggests they fear crossing him so they must agree with Jimmy through gritted teeth. As he can destroy them on his show to an audience that likes the shock jock shaming in public treatment of detractors. I used to enjoy Jimmy at one point but now I don't take his opinion as Gospel anymore.

I do believe Jimmy does genuinely like Cornel but I do think he is wrecking his relationships with real leftists like Cornel with his aggressive and hostile approach to talking to his guests.
