@madpuppy1000 If these people didn't update us on a daily basis I wonder how many of us would believe the mainstream media lies. They are our heroes to undertake the mentally gruelling task. I hope one day they will get rewarded for their services.

People are suffering already though. Not just the victims of war and empire abroad but in the West, the politicians do nothing for us anymore. I understand you likely believe in small government but that isn't a solution either. I used to watch the mainstream news and accepted without any doubt they were telling me the truth but then my eyes were opened when true left politician Jeremy Corbyn was called an antisemite during the 2019 election and all the media in the UK pushed this lie because he wanted to really change things here. He lost the election and the left were eliminated from the labour party. So now I know I only watch alternative sources. The media in the UK has lied about the Ukrainian conflict from the beginning and given no context of Russian objection to NATO expansion on their borders so who is really trying to propagandise the general public? The rest of your advice is good and I agree that we should form strong bonds with others.

@dancroitoru364 I don't have rose tinted glasses on with any nation but I want the USA empire to fall. They have killed more people than Russia and China combined in their endless wars for other nations resources. The European countries have tethered their fate to the United States so they deserve to fall too. We need a system overhaul globally for world peace. So I'm fully onboard with the multipolar world and whatever means it takes to get there.

Young people are much more political than my generation, as they have a terrible future to look forward to if things don't change drastically. How can you travel and study if you don't make enough money? The outlook for the next year is even worse and the politicians of the West keep pretending things are not that bad even though it is plain to the public. I agree there is no substitute to reading to keep learning.
