  1. i agree with you man, patreon really brings in the great equalizer. youtube was better before all the monetization. people hype the shit out of stuff and add drama just to get money. the best content is provided by people who are passionate about their subject, not people who are trying to pay rent. ad revenue is just an economic incentive to create click bait, hop on hype trains, and blow shit out of proportion.
