  1. people always say that about their daughters but not about their sons, and somehow we think society likes girls less than boys. we protect girls from their own decisions even if that means we blame the boys for what the girls did. even when we have to punish the boys for what the girls did. and then we wonder why girls grow up to not be as responsible as boys, to not work as hard as boys, to not be able to defend themselves as well as boys and to generally be more helpless than boys.
