  1. look at siberia, during the cold periods you have sexual selection for prettier people (the fat and lazy die off, men who have more to work for work harder and survive). so i would say that a cold spell is likely better than a hot spell. also consider that ice ages have large amounts of access to fresh water. it is possible to make green houses out of glass to fight off cold weather for growing food, it is not possible to grow food in an environment with no water. i would say we are better off in an ice age than a hot shit world.
