  1. Different forms of rule work better or worse at different population levels. Hell even communism works when your population is under 50 people, but good luck getting such a small population to have a strongly functioning form of capitalism without being in contact to some other market. My point is that socialism won't collapse itself, it will collapse the population until it becomes stable.
    2
