@Rockhard1492 the right supported the laws that declare raising a child "wrong" is child abuse. The left just added to what the right was already doing.

@Xplora213 but I asserted something that has to do it with legal history. US law stemmed from English Common Law. All of this is public access. It's the type of stuff you don't have to source because it is "common knowledge" and the public must be given access to it by the governments that have such laws. Quit expecting me to write sources for the sky being blue. The onus is on you to already know the common knowledge, not for me to teach it to you.

@stanleyclark923 no, go look at the older state laws from the 1980's and prior and the wording of the laws. Many of them state why the laws were written. You are trying to do some history revisionism or are parroting someone else's lies.

@hazelnut975 every child abuse law. And like I said, the left is simply adding to that. Give it ten years and failure to vaccinate your children will be called child abuse too.

@therealchristfollower You can find copies of your state laws and the newspapers at the time those laws were passed at all public libraries. Unfortunately the thought police scrubbed them from the internet though. You will find over and over again that it was raised from 10 for teen pregnancy reasons and that the big push really happened shortly after the depression of 1930 in the United States.
