When I was in Vietnam you could just buy live chickens raised by people on farms, they would bring them to what the locals called "fresh markets" which were just certain streets and tents where they would go at certain times of the morning to afternoon. The chickens were fresh, the meat is better than what you get in the US from factory farmed chickens. We need more local chicken farmers, chickens aren't that expensive to grow, and aren't that bad for the environment. They can be fed cheaply in many environments because they will eat local seeds and plants that humans cannot eat. It is overregulation that caused the chicken problem, it can't be fixed by more regulations. We need to laxen up the regulations so that more people can raise chickens for a living so that the chickens aren't raised by factory farming. Better eggs too.

@davidb2206 Eggs are awesome for supplementing vegetarian diets too. They have virtually all of the essential nutrients that are difficult to do on a vegan diet.

Karen's got a badge. How many asked not to be helped? I hope someone helps these women get hooked on heroin, even if they ask not to be helped if they are guilty of "helping" people who asked not to be.
