Fact: People who marry under the age of 10 have MUCH lower divorce rates than those married after the age of 10. At a near 0% percent divorce rate, we should be asking ourselves what child marriage does right.

@rashmikarkada4460 Many innocent creatures have died for no good reason, and many more will in the future. Neither you nor I can prevent that.
2
@Spikeygal YouTube police or just self appointed speech vigilante?
2
@Spikeygal we'll all be pushing daisies in due time. Get out and enjoy the sunshine while it is still enjoyable.
2
@d.s.5279 Its going to be a bright sunny week, let's enjoy it!

Climate change lost my car keys!

State ID to vote in State elections or be counted as a vote for that state. A cross record that disqualifies all votes from a person who already voted in another state that year. You are one person who is a resident of one state with one vote. If everyone doesn't have an equal vote and equal number of votes, then it won't work.
2
I haven't seen any industry survive the last 10 years without some major changes. Cancel culture has forced change.
2
I kind of agree with him, except I think a different person should put up that 60,000 dollars. Having children without first paying 60,000 dollars as a trust should be illegal and grounds for having the children taken from you. In this way, generational poverty will be stamped out. Parents are failing their children, and we shouldn't allow for that.
2
A woman speaker, speaking against hate speech and a high like to dislike ratio. Its almost like the downvoted women aren't being downvoted for opposing hate or being women. Maybe they just have bad ideas and this one doesn't.
2
I heard that cell phone companies are biased against people who opt out of using cell phones. 0% of people who refuse to own a cell phone, own a cell phone, this is obviously bias from the cell phone companies. And that is basically what she is saying.
2
You are wrong. You would be lucky if you were dead in 10 years, but you won't be so lucky.
2
Its hard to make safe spaces for black women, because if you allow black women on a platform you also have to allow black women on it. And they attack each other. No space is safe for black people if black people are allowed into it. Black people are the number 1 enemy of black people.
2
@SolitaryReaper666 Free stuff? No, it is the people who monopolize the capital of a country that get "free stuff" by harnessing and controlling the profits made up by the wage value of the labor done by the wage slaves. I agree, people shouldn't get free stuff.

Legal adulthood begins at 18. You are a legal adult before 20. Biological adulthood begins at puberty.
2
My concept of morality is based on natural law. Technology doesn't change it.
2
@sapiens2299 you should oppose wind energy as a renewable resource. Look up how many birds they kill. You know how migratory birds use earth's magnetic field to determine direction of migration? The wind generators mess up that sence to get the birds to fly right into thier own deaths.
2
@badvermin I don't think it was called Africa back then man.

Media companies should be held economically responsible for the effects of their fear based lies on the public. They are inciting hatred, encouraging violence and polarizing society. How many people have bought into the lies told by the like of Racheal Maddow? The news companies that perpetuate this type of fake news and conspiracy theories should be held financially liable for the effects of this type of propaganda on the population.
2
@osufan77 I agree, they should be paying too. I am sorry if my example was one sided. Anytime a person can make a reasonable link from their mental health problems to lies told by the mass media, they should be able to sue those media companies for the cost of their mental health treatment.
2
I buy lottery tickets because my state uses the money gained by the lottery to help the public schools. Lottery tickets fund schools. I just buy a good dream, I know I won't win, but I also know that the money they got for me in part helps disadvantaged children. Sometimes you play the lottery not to win, but to support something you care about.

@wandayonder9772 I'm cool with reducing murders. For instance, if we had some type of social group online that could expose women who are toxic and who gaslight men until it aggravates the men into doing stupid things, then we could help prevent men from doing stupid things. Most domestic violence is two parties fighting with each other and sometimes it escalates. Both men and women need to be warned about new people that they are potentially partnering with. Men are the problem, women are the problem, narcissists are the problem. People should know if the person they are about to date has a toxic past, that includes physical violence as well as emotional violence, that includes both men and women. But sexist activism continually shelters women whether the women are victims or victimizers. And sexist activism continually attacks men, whether they are victims or victimizers.
2
@wandayonder9772 It was no more racist then your comment was sexist. Double standards make you look like a biggot.
2
@wandayonder9772 ok so are we going to talk about who performs the majority of these violent crimes, or can we agree that nobody should have to be the victim of predatory people including all races, all genders and all sexes?
2
@wandayonder9772 I think some form of social media that warned people about each other's past would help a lot in this regard. Women would know to stay away from men who had violent or abusive relationships in their past, while men would know to stay away from women who had emotionally abusive relationships in their past. Ultimately the person killing is responsible, but many a murder victim was a narcissistic emotional abuser or rapist or the like who had done something that provoked irrational behavior from the murderer. Keeping emotionally fragile men away from narcissistic women is a good way to save the lives of those narcissistic women.

It's a power grab at this point. Everyone sees what is going on with economies all over the world. Geoengineering will help some areas at the expense of other areas. I oppose global governance and prefer nuclear war.
2
Meritocracy is a half truth. You can't win the lottery without buying a ticket. Sure there is luck involved, but if you are incapable, than that luck won't do you any good. You need to both have talent/skill and have luck at the same time to succeed. Take this speaker for example, she had the luck, but she didn't have the talent, so she didn't last.
2
@azsli2 He already mentioned that it was used in Hollywood....

I don't negotiate anymore. This entire talk is about how to be a better wage slave. Work for yourself. Corporations have made the world a shittier place, don't work for them. You are allowed to steal from them like they steal from you. It's illegal for you to do it and legal for them to do. Just get a rifle stand your ground and work for yourself. If the wage slavers need cheap labor they can do the work for pennies themselves.
2
We need European vaccines to migrate to Africa so they can have European birth rates.

I have noticed that film is loaded with actors, actresses and myths. I find most documentaries to be heavily biased at best, and downright misleading or outright lying at worst. Honor killings are tied heavily to honor societies. The family doesn't just decide willy nilly to kill a family member. Rather it is the society that places great social pressure on the family to address the cultural transgression. Such a woman places a great social burden on her family clan through her selfish actions. I obviously don't promote such actions, rather I try to understand why things are the way they are. These types of things only happen in societies that have clans and castes. I don't think life imprisonment would deter people from honor killings. The killer will sacrifice themselves to save their clan.
2
Name a country that has recorded studies of happiness levels of the populace that became happier when it went from a non-feminist country to a feminist country. The reason you can't is because there is none. Feminism harms women and girls.
2
Imagine that military grants were funding a whole lot of students and science programs in universities across the country. You don't have to imagine, that's how it is now.
2
Yes, I liked this one too and think that the quality of its topic is higher than lately and more typical of previous times.
2
People been making wrong predictions based on models on this topic for over thirty years. It's more complex than people want to admit. I am not worried. Without a first argument about what is valuable about the world that should be preserved and saved, without an agreement on that, there is no reason to worry. If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.
2
@Adam&Qi ZR I heard they circumcise a near insignificant fraction of girls compared to how many boys we circumcise. I hear that child marriages have significantly lower divorce rates than adult marriages. I hear that countries where women do not work are countries where women have time to pursue their hobbies. This woman should be thankful that she is from Kenya and not a "developed nation".
2
@shway1 the children care. Ever see the outcomes of children of single parents compared to divorced parents? I care too, because if you have some crazy kid that goes to school with my kid, then I don't want you raising a kid that is going to go to school and shoot my kid to death. SMH at people who don't look at the big picture....
2
This is just censorship and information gatekeeping dressed up as something else. I call it now, people will try to copyright basic education.
2
It already has. A video of Pelosi was slowed down to make it look like she was drunk. Now if you speed it up, she was probably drunk anyway but that isn't the point. I have nothing against drinking. But who do you think made that video, her supporters or her opponents? I am leading to the former, since if you speed it up she was probably a little buzzed on alcohol anyway, but using technology against her makes her look like a victim, and maybe you will sympathize with her if she is a victim. But the tech is already out, and has already been used to spread lies about political figures. Even when we know damn well that it is a lie, we would have a hard time knowing who made it and why they made it. And that is the point after all, divide and conquer.
2
Immigration from small greenhouse footprints to countries with large greenhouse footprints is the primary driver of population growth in many countries that would have been in population decline. The people who pushed for this immigration are the primary culprits of manmade climate change. We wouldn't have gotten to this point without them. They should be the first to sacrifice everything to help address the problem that they created.
2
@aquasky1138 if men have to work extra, is that really equality?
2
I'll add a different solution. Lets genetically modify people. We need to select for intelligent, competent, and ambitious black people. There simply aren't enough of them. And because this average leads to other averages, it looks like racism, when it should be seen as mean IQ. You want more black leaders? Get more intelligent black people. That starts with genetic modification.
2
@Arcanineisthebest I am egalitarian. I think racism is stupid and harmful to all parties involved in it. I would like to see everyone be happy.
2
Tech giants have already taken over too much of government for me to feel comfortable with. Is there a reliable open source project that can be used for a software suit? I would like to dodge the corruption before it begins this time around. If we are doing tech deals, make it open source and transparent isn't much to ask for the people and for the welfare of the people's children with no tech giant standing in the middle of that.
2
School is designed to teach you to conform and obey, everything else they teach is secondary to that.
2
Climate change is natural but mankind is accelerating it. This is true, and it needs to be what is said. Instead people say that humans are the cause of climate change, and that is false.
2
Ok, I thought you were looking for excuses to bar research on certain things because of the potential to create weapons of mass destruction. I misunderstood you. Just about anything can be weaponized. The drones we use in the middle east were invented by a man who cried when he saw them get weaponized. He had envisioned them being used to make cheap passenger flights so that people could travel easier. He did not realize that the US government would attach missiles to them and use the systems on smaller aircraft.
2
@SuperDinomagic I started smoking the summer between 5th and 6th grade. Her lecture forgets that children aren't smoking cigarettes anymore.
2
Climate change is real, but the proposed solutions are power grabs. A real problem is being used to justify creating even more problems while they lie about addressing the real problem. If you are near a very wet area that floods or is a flood risk, I recommend that you grow organic rice.
