  1. I don't want to choose between owning a house or being able to live anywhere in the world. Owning a house is a good first step to being able to travel anywhere around the world. Its useful for leverage on loans in an emergency, it can be rented out for income to support you while overseas, etc. If you want to live anywhere in the world, I recommend that you get a house and contract a good rental company.
