  1. giving refugees the right to work only encourages those creating the conditions to create more refugees. i would like to point out that a lot of those people are wealthy business owners who want cheaper labor. the type of people who have rigged the political system. the type of people that TED used to try and get as their primary audience. instead of being relevant, TED has turned into a propaganda box. it used to be people talking to oligarchs, now it is oligarchs talking to people.

  2. i wonder if it is possible for us to crowdfund a new TED like arena that is more like the old TED that we started watching this channel over? where is the counter talk? where is the talk about fixing the crisis in their home country so that they don't have to immigrate? why have refugees at all? why aren't we talking about ways to stop the immigration?
