@schmetterling4477 35 to 40 trillion cells, the largest myocytes are visible to the naked eye. But there are many more atoms per cell on average than there are cells per human. I think a lot of people forget that the DNA bundle in every cell is made up of around 90 trillion atoms. And that is just the DNA, its tiny compared to the rest of the cell. There are more atoms in a cell than there are cells in a human, or even human cells in a country. Atoms are incredibly small.

I made an error myself, its 180 trillion atoms per DNA strand, its a double helix of base pairs. This is still dwarfed by the rest of the atom structure and number of other atoms that form the phospholipid bilayer and other organelles. The cytostructure itself in some cells is the DNA, but that is not how it is in most human cells (or any animal for that matter).
