Censorship campaigns are disempowerment campaigns. Some truths are illegal to spread, and if you need to stop the spread of truth, you will need censorship.

  3. Censorship is used to tell public lies and not have them challenged. I don't mind at all when people who promote censorship of porn or bad ideas or the like are themselves censored. Free speech doesn't include censorship. If you don't want to defend free speech and have reasons to censor things, then you don't deserve free speech.
