  1. this is as opposed to the very open crime of male genital mutilation, which is widely accepted as normal. it also is a potentially lethal practice. since i am a feminist (want equality between the genders), in order to treat girls the same as boys, i won't condemn female genital mutilation in other countries until male genital mutilation is no longer tolerated in mine.
