  1. in the US when this stuff happens at peaceful protests it is often undercover FBI agents and the like posing as protesters and escalating to violence and destruction in an effort to undermine the protests. the people at these protests should attack the members who are instigating violence and looting. self policing increases respectability and makes the movement more difficult to sabotage.
