  1. this is the threat of climate change. water loss = crop loss, crop loss = food loss, food loss = destabilized society. starving people are desperate, desperate people will perform desperate actions. climate change leads to war. solar, wind and other forms of replenishable energy needs to be pushed into water moving and desalination efforts to move fresh water to drought torn areas. this should be being addressed as the number 1 priority of technological grants.
