Some people do though. I even climbed a mountain for the "fun of it", more just to say I did it. It wasn't really all that pleasant to do. I do agree that everyone just wants a good life, although what makes a life good for one person makes it bad for another. I hope one day you get to cross an ocean or a desert, not because you are forced to do it, but because you realized that life is about the journey.
