A lot of these people were offered asylum by Mexico and are currently in Mexico. I don't see how the laws allow for them to turn down aid and then demand aid from us. The US economy is not doing as well as it needs to be doing. Sure we got job growth, but only in jobs that need to be subsidized by government aid because they pay so low. We need labor value to increase enough that the average person is paying into taxes more than they will take away in government funding. Right now we are already drowning in debt. These immigrants are not the type that help solve that issue. I am not saying all immigrants are bad, just that we need more of the high skilled ones and less of the dangerous former gang member ones.
