  1. Paying locals directly by creating a market by purchasing them is a great idea. I think it should be used for cattle feed unless there are starving people that can be provided with this and not a better source. But honestly, if we could capitalize it for cattle food, specifically if mixed with that kelp/seaweed combo that both grows in the oceans and prevents cows from releasing methane, then that is a thing we should do. The price of beef is high enough to absorb the cost of paying people to gather those locusts and creating a sea based aquaculture industry hopefully as well. People love cows, them and dogs share a unique and long lasting rich cultural history with us, intertwined with us since recorded history.
