Some CB radios can be used to jam radio frequencies within their broadcast range.

@FattyMcJigglez CB's do. If one CB does this, no other CB in it's range can broadcast or receive signals. I felt like that was rather obvious, but you seemed to have missed that.

@FattyMcJigglez There is a critical weakness in that a bad actor with a balloon and a lightweight dish can be aimed downward to jam all CB radios in a cone beneath it. It wouldn't even be all that expensive to do. In a pinch, a local weather balloon could be temporarily confiscated from a local news agency. If that were done they could also rig wide panning camera systems to survey and record everything happening too on the satalite comms and still send signals upward to satellites. This could be sent to processing to add everyone present into databases and perhaps cross reference and identify the Russian alphabet agents.

@MattH-wg7ou Balloons are cheaper, more plentiful and can stay up in one spot longer. They use less fuel, fly higher and can have a larger field of effect. I don't know how that would be "jump through those hoops" compared to the much more expensive and less effective options that you listed.

@MattH-wg7ou Yeah, I don't feel like they are a big threat. What I think is that it is expensive for us to be doing that stuff, and it would be awfully nice if he was fixing the methane problem in the tundra instead of trying to posture with a military.
