  1. Some moneyed interests out there don't want nuclear power. The reason being is that the same technology that is used to create nuclear fuel can also make nuclear bombs. Notice how the US hasn't invaded North Korea, or any other nuclear country? Well we can't be having all the countries have nuclear bombs, otherwise you can't have war for profits.
