  2. In Thailand a "ladyboy" is a gender of it's own. There is no equivalent in western culture. They are not considered men nor women but have similarities to both. In Islamic culture homosexuals are killed but it's fine to be transgender. So in that little bubble, there is a need for trans rights. Gender equality exists when the oppressed gender can choose to be another. The ability to do this cripples systemic injustice. Don't let your rights infringe on someone else's. That applies to everyone in USA.
