  1. Sure lithium ain't great for batteries. But heavy lithium is the future of nuclear technology, and nobody is good as the US at separating isotopes. We need it for fission-fusion reactors that use fission to start a fusion cycle that loses energy to enrich heavy elements that can be used in fission as well as clean up nuclear waste.
