Yep, we get the message courts are sending...light sentence for corrupt politicians, but hammer time for any normal person who commits a crime. I doubt she will even do the entire time, she will get an early release and possible home confinement.

@hus390 These are elected officials...punishments should be MORE severe for them then for average person...public puts their trust into these "leaders" and when they violate that trust, they should face harsh penalties, which would also help deter other leaders from playing fast and loose with public monies and trust. As it is now, all they get is a wrist slap and "please don't commit another crime" speech.
