  1. King says..."People in the city should have final say"...well the people in the city re-elected this incompetent mayor, so that does not say much. Hopefully, they allow confirmation power over this mayor, or any future mayor, because as history repeats, any mayor of this city becomes too powerful and ends up making bad decisions for the public good. If you notice, good old felon, Ollie Thomas, voted against this...he may be positioning for mayors position next election...people may want to keep close eye on him.
