  1. The ironic thing is that when drugs are legalized people actually use drugs less. It takes the "forbidden fruit" factor out of it. Just look at Portugal.

  2. @NoiDontWantFries People are people. To some degree, all people want to use some type of vice. It could be alcohol, jerking off, pot, sniffing cleaner, binging on food, erotic asphyxiation, extreme biking, etc. All of those things could be really harmful. Legalizing "dangerous" things or activities will actually take the criminal, black market element out of things. Instead of funding gangs, you might buy from Marlboro. Plus, cops would concentrate on real crime like murder and rape.
