The machines are against progressives and libertarians. The corporate machine must be in control.

One size doesn’t fit all states for the minimum wage. The cost of living is much higher in New York and California versus other states. Keep it at the state level and leave the Federal government out of it.

Private property is incredibly important. The African countries have suffered from not having private property and having their land and assets taken from authorities without recourse.

Faf Dus Libertarians are polar opposites in beliefs versus fascists. We don’t believe in crony capitalism. Republicans have historically supported fascist, crony capitalist policies. No bailouts! No corporate favors or perverse incentives! No pork in bills! No business should get special treatment or help if we believe in liberty.

I say bring it on. They will likely have the best healthcare in the world.

The Constitution Party pulls from the Republicans. The Green Party pulls from the Democrats. The Libertarian Party is the only party that has been consistent against the insane War on Drugs, the endless overseas wars, the Wall Street-favoring Federal Reserve, and corporate bailouts and subsidies. Libertarians can't pull from Republicans if we are for open borders, pro-choice, believe in decriminalization of non-violent crimes, and for protecting civil liberties and privacy. The LP is the only one that stands out as the clear and different choice that's based on a country of liberty. Unfortunately, I think they have an uphill battle to get into the debates.

The only way to know your true political identity is with the Nolan Chart. It’s 5 viewpoints: Conservative, Liberal, Moderate, Authoritarian, or Libertarian. It’s more of a diamond versus a left-right paradigm.

As a libertarian I support unions. I was a Teamsters union and a restaurant union, so I understand it can be done privately.

That "illegal" labor would keep working in the black market. They aren't going to self-deport. And police raids are going to be very expensive to audit every single business. What about getting back to the ideals of the country by having a pro-liberty, free market approach? Instead of penalizing American businesses, make it easier for immigrants to get access to work. No welfare. If you live here you cannot jump on the government dole.

“The problem is if this works well”... let it happen. Experiments are good. While I am not a fan of corporate fascism, I think this would be more free market.
