  1. We were poor and me, the only child. I'm the black sheep of the Chinese community. I worked my way up in restaurants, odd jobs and got an education. My parents guided me through all those years. After working for 4 years, got out of a bad relationship so my parents and I bought a house. I saved money and went through the marriage/dowry nonsense. I broke the Chinese rules: married a divorcee with 2 kids and gave her a white gown church wedding!! It turned out she's a gorgeous model all the men tried to get. We lived with my parents for 1 1/2 years, then we bought a house. She always dressed like a model at gatherings, receptions and men would be hitting on her. We both get a good laugh at this. We owned 2 businesses and a restaurant over the years, bought a 2nd house and traveled. So things worked out great and she still turns heads!! A black sheep hitting the jackpot.
