  1. American born and only Child, I went with my parents to visit their village. My parents were pressured to get me married. We're called "金 山 客", so the dowries and demands were fantastic. They demanded: house, car, big salaries, bank money, gold jewelry, gifts and $300,000 to $888,888 dowries. There appears to be no compromising. Well, the cabbie got us out quickly. We went back to visit 10 years later after I was married and shocked the village.
